Rev. Simon Sandra
Rev. Simon Sandra was born and bred of a Hindu family in Malaysia. Rev. Simon came to know the Lord and accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour in 1984. Between 1986 and 1988, he participated in ministering at a drug re-habilitation centre. Then for five years, 1988 to 1993, he joined Malaysian Care CARE to teach the Special Children Ministry.
He went on to become a full-time student at Malaysian Tamil Bible Institute also known as MTBI and completed his Diploma in Theology. Moreover, in the same year he joined Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Klang. Later he become the Pastor in the Tamil Department where Rev. Simon serves until today.
In the year 2005, he planted an outreach at 16A Jalan Sg. Keramat 1A, Sri Mewah, Batu 5 Jalan Kapar, Klang and employed 1 worker at Klang Utama Church, Klang.
Rev. Simon’s vision is to plant five new works and bring in ten more workers to bring in the harvest.
Currently, the Missions Department is supporting two Churches and two pastors in India.
Rev. Simon Sandra and his faithful wife, Susan Vani, have three lovely children named: Susanna, Silas and Sabrina.
