Good News
- Acknowledge that you are a sinner
“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Rom 3:23)
“…`God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’..” (Lk 18:13)
- Repent of your sins
“ I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
(Lk 13:3) “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may bewiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord…” (Acts 3:19)
- Confess your sins
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 Jn 1:9)
“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe
in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
(Rom 10:9)
- Forsake your sinful ways
“Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.” (Isa 55:7)
- Believe in Jesus
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (Jn 3:16)
“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mk 16:16)
- Receive Jesus
“He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. [12]
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – [13]
children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” (Jn 1:11-13)
Pray this prayer sincerely and you can begin your new life in Christ.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for your love to me.
Forgive me of my past sins and wrongs.
I want a change in my life.
I now invite You into my heart and life
as my personal Lord and Saviour.
Thank you Lord for the new life today.
